Audito is a Chrome extension that provides SEO, accessibility, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and blog optimization audits. This privacy policy explains how Audito handles your data.

In short: Audito does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data.

All audit processing happens 100% locally within your browser. No data ever leaves your computer.

3. How Audito Works

When you run an audit:

1. Audito reads the currently open webpage
2. Analysis runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript
3. Results are displayed in the extension popup
4. Results can optionally be saved to your browser’s local storage (Chrome Storage API) if you choose to use history features

No data is sent to any server.

Audito uses Chrome’s local storage API only for:

When you upgrade to Audito Pro:

• You enter a license key from Gumroad
• The extension sends ONLY your license key to Gumroad’s API for verification
• Gumroad’s API confirms if the key is valid
• No other data is transmitted
